Organometallic architecture and catalysis

Our research aims to design new organometallic species presenting unusual coordination modes and to look for interesting applications in the fields of catalysis and energy.
Our main focus concerns the chemistry of complexes containing σ H-E bonds (E = H, C, Si, B) and the activation of small molecules such as dihydrogen and carbon dioxide.
Mechanistic investigations are at the heart of our research to understand how to improve selectivity or achieve better activity, two major goals in catalysis.
This is notably achieved with an experiment/theory synergetic approach combining in situ monitoring of catalytic reactions and parallel studies at the stoichiometric level.
