A contemporary aspect of supramolecular chemistry aims at designing molecular organizations with workable chemical, physical and/or structural properties. Such features confer an identity to the chemical object, it becomes a material. Our approach towards supramolecular materials is based on the spontaneous assembling of pre-formed molecular building blocks by the means of coordination chemistry, charge-assisted H-bonding, etc… .
We take advantage of this rich and modular chemistry to elaborate magnetic materials or with open structures.

Design of specific molecular building units, their organization in supramolecular architectures, the investigation and modeling of the properties are our keys to this fascinating research domain.
