Presentation

Lydie Valade is Director of Research at CNRS-LCC in Toulouse. She owns a double scientific culture on molecular conductors and processing methods to integrate them into devices. L. Valade first studied molecular (super)conductors, headed a project on molecular precursors to the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of ceramic materials and developed processing of molecule-based materials as thin films, nanowires and NPs using CVD and electrodeposition techniques. She authored over 140 articles and book chapters. She is member of the administrative council of the Chemical Society of France, and President of "Chimie et Société", a division of the Fondation de la Maison de la Chimie devoted to scientific outreach in chemistry.
