<p>Face à l’urgence sanitaire mondiale que représente l’antibiorésistance, Michel Baltas (équipe R du LCC <a href="https://www.lcc-toulouse.fr/molecules-et-composites-pour-loptique-equipe-r-2/">Molécules et composites pour l’optique</a>) et ses collaborateurs ont synthétisé une nouvelle molécule qu’ils ont baptisée <em>infuzide</em>. Cette molécule s’est révélée efficace contre des souches résistantes de pathogènes gram positifs, notamment <em>Staphylococcus aureus</em> et <em>Enterococcus</em>, en laboratoire et sur modèle animal. <em>Infuzide</em> s’est avérée plus performante que certains antibiotiques de référence. Ces résultats marquent une étape importante vers le développement de nouveaux traitements contre les infections résistantes aux antibiotiques classiques.</p>

<p>«<span> </span><em>Les antibiotiques, c’est pas automatique !</em><span> </span>» est la phrase que les médecins et scientifiques ne cessent de répéter pour réduire le recours trop systématique aux antibiotiques. Pouvant devenir la première cause de mortalité d’ici 2050, la lutte contre la résistance aux antimicrobiens est un axe de recherche prioritaire.<br />C’est dans ce contexte que l’équipe du Pr. Isabelle Malfant au Laboratoire de chimie de coordination explore une nouvelle famille de composés dont l’action combinée à la stratégie de la photothérapie permettraient de lutter contre des bactéries résistantes.<br />Yue Xiao consacre ainsi sa thèse à l’étude de ces nouveaux médicaments antimicrobiens contre un panel de pathogènes classés prioritaires par l’OMS, et contre lesquels il y a urgence à agir.</p>

<h2>Etude parue dans <em><span lang="EN-US">RSC Mechanochemistry</span></em></h2>
</blockquote>
<p><span>Un des principaux enjeux de recherche en synthèse de molécules biologiquement actives, dont font partie les médicaments, est le développement de méthodes plus respectueuses de l&rsquo;environnement. Englobées sous le terme de « chimie verte », les problématiques d&rsquo;efficacité, de gestion des déchets et de consommation d&rsquo;énergie sont abordées dans ces recherches.</span></p>
<p><span>La mécano-chimie, qui permet d’induire une réaction chimique grâce à l’apport direct d’énergie mécanique, répond en partie à cet enjeu. </span><span>Dans ce contexte, des chimistes du CNRS (Laboratoire de chimie de coordination (LCC &#8211; CNRS) et Institut des sciences analytiques et de physico-chimie pour l&rsquo;environnement et les matériaux (IPREM &#8211; CNRS/Université de Pau Pays de l’Adour))  ont revisité une réaction très importante en chimie médicinale : la réaction de Biginelli. </span></p>
<p><span>Ces résultats, publiés dans la revue <em>RSC Mechanochemistry</em>, ouvrent la voie vers de nouvelles stratégies durables de synthèse de molécules thérapeutiques et autres principes actifs.</span></p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>Des complexes de ruthénium à ligand nitrosyle sont utilisés pour libérer du monoxyde d'azote non invasivement sous irradiation lumineuse à l'aide de la technique d'absorption « à deux photons » (TPA) et les complexes bimétalliques présentent une valeur de sTPA cinq fois supérieure à celle des complexes monométalliques.</p>
