<p>La « Journée Scientifique des Non-Permanents du LCC 2026 » aura lieu le <b>Vendredi 20 mars 2026</b>. Cette journée est une opportunité d’échange, de rencontre et de partage pour tous, mais surtout pour les doctorants, postdocs, masters et autres non-permanents du LCC.</p>
<p>La journée comptera avec la présence d’une chercheuse invitée: Pr. Anna Proust de l’IPCM, Sorbonne Université, <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" rel="noopener" href="https://ipcm.fr/recherche/presentation-equipe-epom/composition-equipe-e-pom/anna-proust/" target="_blank">https://ipcm.fr/recherche/presentation-equipe-epom/composition-equipe-e-pom/anna-proust/</a>).</p>

<p style="padding-left: 40px;"><em>« Les membres de l’Academia Europaea sont des scientifiques et des érudits issus de tout le continent européen. Fondée en 1988, elle compte actuellement plus de 4500 membres, dont 72 lauréats du prix Nobel. L’adhésion se fait sur invitation, après la nomination par un groupe de pairs, et l&rsquo;examen et la confirmation de l’excellence de l&rsquo;individu dans son domaine. L&rsquo;élection est confirmée par le Conseil de l&rsquo;Académie. »</em></p>

				<div class="et_pb_text_inner"><h4>Le prix Rising Star « Recherche » de la faculté de santé de Toulouse remis à Kévin Antraygues<br />13 janvier 2026</h4>
<p style="padding-left: 40px;"><em>La Faculté de santé de Toulouse a organisé la soirée Rising Star première cérémonie de remise de prix dédiée à la valorisation de l’excellence académique, de l’innovation pédagogique, et de l’engagement étudiant, qui s&rsquo;est déroulée le mardi 13 janvier 2026.</em></p>
<p style="padding-left: 40px;"><em>Cette première édition Rising Star était placée sous le signe de l’intelligence collective et de l’engagement au service de la santé. Animé par Fabrice Muscari, doyen de la Faculté de santé, l&rsquo;événement s&rsquo;est déroulé en présence d&rsquo;Odile Rauzy, présidente de l&rsquo;Université de Toulouse et de Fabien Pelous, ancien international de rugby et parrain de l&rsquo;édition 2026.</em></p>
<p style="padding-left: 40px;"><em>Rising Star illustre pleinement les piliers de la Faculté de santé : une formation d’excellence, une recherche innovante et un fort ancrage sociétal, valorisant les initiatives qui contribuent à la santé de demain.</em></p>
<p>Maître de conférences, Kévin Antraygues poursuit ses recherches dans l&rsquo;<a href="https://www.lcc-toulouse.fr/dendrimeres-et-heterochimie-equipe-m/">équipe M « Dendrimères et petites molécules thérapeutiques »</a> du Laboratoire de Chimie de Coordination (LCC). Ses travaux portent sur la synthèse d&rsquo;hybrides antibiotique-sidérophore afin de lutter contre les infections à bactéries Gram-négatives. Il a été récompensé pour ses travaux par le Prix « Recherche » dont l&rsquo;objet est d&rsquo;encourager l’innovation scientifique. Ce prix distingue de jeunes chercheurs pour la qualité et la portée de leurs travaux.</p></div>

				<div class="et_pb_text_inner"><p>Des chercheurs ont découvert une nouvelle manière de <strong>transformer des molécules simples comme le monoxyde de carbone (CO) en sucres complexes</strong> &#8211; les briques élémentaires du vivant -, grâce à des <strong>catalyseurs</strong> en métal très réactifs. Cela permettrait de s’affranchir de procédés biologiques complexes utilisant biomasse et enzymes.</p>
<p>L’étude décrit une synthèse en deux étapes : la première met en jeu un catalyseur au cobalt pour transformer le CO en formaldéhyde (voir photo ci-contre), cette petite molécule organique est ensuite polymérisée dans le même réacteur pour former des sucres tel que le glucose, tout en limitant les sous-produits indésirables.</p>
<p>Ces résultats ont été obtenus grâce à une mise au point très fine des conditions expérimentales (pH, température, électrolyte), et un réglage minutieux de la synergie entre les deux catalyseurs moléculaires organométallique (complexe de cobalt) et organique (carbène).</p>
<p>Envisager de produire des sucres sans utiliser la photosynthèse, leur principal processus de production sur Terre, est une avancée qui pourrait, à terme, ouvrir la voie à une chimie plus propre et plus durable pour produire des molécules à haute valeur ajoutée sans biomasse ni enzymes.</p>
<p>Ces travaux ont été réalisés par des équipes de l’<strong>Institut parisien de chimie moléculaire</strong> (CNRS/Sorbonne Université) et du <strong>Laboratoire de chimie de coordination</strong> (CNRS, Université de Toulouse).</p>

<p>Si l’étude de la libération de NO peut très bien être caractérisée par OPA au laboratoire, les composés devront être irradiés à 2 photons (TPA) lors d’applications médicales réelles en milieu biologique, ce qui implique de déterminer les propriétés TPA quantifiées par la section efficace moléculaire (σ<sub>TPA</sub>) exprimée en Goeppert-Mayer (GM).</p></div>

<p>Les composés bimétalliques de ce type peuvent tous être considérés comme électroniquement pseudo-centrosymétriques. Un point remarquable est que leur σ<sub>TPA</sub> associée dépasse largement le double de celle des complexes monométalliques de base. Ainsi σ<sub>TPA</sub><sub> </sub>= 1523 GM pour<strong> 3</strong>, sous irradiation à 700 nm, ce qui constitue un record pour nos complexes bimétalliques [Ru-NO].<br />(<em>Chem. Eur. Les valeurs de Φ<sub>NO</sub> sont situées dans la gamme 0.1% – 3% pour toutes les longueurs d’onde d’irradiation (365, 400, 455, 490 nm), avec une tendance marquée pour de plus grandes valeurs de Φ<sub>NO</sub> lors de l’étape 1.<br />(<em>Inorg. 				<div class="et_pb_text_inner"><p>Le rendement quantique (Φ<sub>NO</sub>) est une propriété de l’état excité et dépend donc de son évolution. L’absorption initiale d’un photon conduit dans tous les cas à augmenter sensiblement la densité électronique sur le ligand nitrosyle. C’est ce dont témoigne la figure ci-dessous qui illustre la transition HOMO ® LUMO dans le cas du composé <strong>1</strong>.</p>
<p>La compréhension complète de l’évolution de l’état excité (triplet Ru<sup>III</sup> – NO<sup>•</sup>) implique une collaboration avec une équipe de théoriciens du LCPQ (Université de Toulouse) autour de Martial Boggio-Pasqua. Au final, le paramètre Φ<sub>NO</sub> est celui sur lequel nous avons le moins de prise, sauf à observer qu’en général les plus fortes valeurs de Φ<sub>NO</sub> sont obtenues expérimentalement pour les longueurs d’onde d’irradiation les plus courtes.</p></div>

				<div class="et_pb_text_inner"><p>Absorber un nombre important de photons est un prérequis fondamental pour tout processus photochimique efficace. Dans tous les cas (OPA comme TPA), la conception des molécules passe alors par la synthèse de ligands donneurs d’électrons aux structures électroniques <em>p</em> étendues.</p>
<p>Les composés les plus prometteurs sont clairement les polymétalliques à 2 RuNO (quadripolaires) voire 3 RuNO (octupolaires) et augmenter la taille de ces systèmes conduit toujours à augmenter ε ou <sub>σTPA</sub>. Mais l’optimisation de ces paramètres ne suffit pas, il convient également d’augmenter le nombre des photons disponibles au voisinage des complexes. C’est pour cette raison qu’a été récemment introduite dans l’équipe la stratégie des antennes.</p>

				<div class="et_pb_text_inner"><p>Utiliser les complexes [Ru-NO] à des fins biologiques demande d’abord de s’assurer de leur stabilité dans l’eau. En effet les complexes de type [Ru(terpy)(bipy)(NO)] (<strong>4</strong>, ci-dessous) tendent à évoluer à pH = 7 en [Ru-NO<sub>2</sub>], selon un processus acido-basique :</p>

<p>Afin d’éviter cet effet délétère, une synthèse a été réalisée en remplaçant la bipyridine par le ligand acétylacétonato (acac). Les complexes résultants (<strong>5</strong>) sont beaucoup plus robustes en milieu aqueux, ce qui garantit une bonne stabilité pour une application biologique ultérieure.</p></div>

				<div class="et_pb_text_inner"><p>Un élément important à considérer pour ces systèmes [Ru-NO] et de s’assurer de leur aptitude à franchir les membranes cellulaires afin de libérer NO à l’intérieur même des cellules. Afin d’améliorer cette possibilité, l’ajout d’une « queue » Estradiol (en bleue dans le composé <strong>6</strong>, ci-dessous) a été testée et les propriétés résultantes comparées à celle d’une référence (<strong>7</strong>). L’absorption cellulaire de <strong>6</strong> a été trouvée 10 fois supérieure à celle de <strong>7</strong> (<em>Dalton Trans.</em> <strong>2023</strong>, <em>52</em>, 18177-18193, post-doctorat Pablo Labra Vazquez).</p></div>

				<div class="et_pb_text_inner"><p>Les infections cutanées constituent un problème mondial, car elles touchent des millions de patients et coûtent chaque année des millions d&rsquo;euros en traitements antimicrobiens, à des fins préventives ou curatives. La synthèse d&rsquo;une nouvelle famille d&rsquo;antimicrobiens est devenue cruciale dans le contexte actuel, afin d&rsquo;éviter une résistance bactérienne persistante aux nouveaux dérivés d&rsquo;antimicrobiens déjà connus et utilisés, et d&rsquo;offrir un nouveau mécanisme de destruction des micro-organismes.</p>
<p>La production de NO ciblée et contrôlée par la lumière grâce à la photo-activation des complexes RuNO est proposée en tant qu&rsquo;agents antimicrobiens « non traditionnels » avec une activité de cicatrisation des plaies. Une série de ces complexes aux propriétés photophysiques variées a été synthétisée et caractérisée. Le spectre antimicrobien a été déterminé sur plusieurs souches bactériennes Gram (+) et Gram (-). En parallèle, les effets de cytotoxicité et de phototoxicité ont également été déterminés sur plusieurs types de cellules cutanées.</p>
<p>Après avoir démontré une activité bactéricide remarquable allant jusqu&rsquo;à près de 4 log (99.98 %) sur <em>S. aureus</em> CIP 4.83 planctonique, le complexe [Ru<sup>II</sup>(Fluorenyl-Terpy)NO(OH)Cl]Cl a montré avec succès une activité antibiofilm sous irradiation, réduisant de près de 3 log (99.77%) le biofilm de <em>S. aureus</em> CIP 4.83 à 10 µM. Après dispersion, les bactéries planctoniques dans le surnageant ont continué à subir l&rsquo;activité bactéricide du complexe, ce qui a entraîné une augmentation de l&rsquo;activité réduisant la viabilité des cellules planctoniques jusqu&rsquo;à 100%.</p></div>
