Dendrimers, dendrons, bis-dendrons, dendronized polymers…
Since 1993, we have been working on the synthesis of various dendritic architectures. This “legochemistry” is made possible by the richness of the chemistry of phosphorus, which is present at all the branching points of these macromolecules. It is thus possible to design macromolecular objects, whose structure and topology, i.e. local and global properties, are perfectly controlled. Particular attention is paid to the study of their physicochemical properties. The applications of these objects are then studied in the fields of catalysis, organic electronics, materials and biology.
